Dukkah Potato Gratin

750g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

200g grated Pecorino cheese

3 teaspoons Dukkah

3 teaspoons olive oil

3 spring onions

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

150ml white wine

150ml stock

150ml cream


  1. Place a layer of potato in a dish and sprinkle well with 150g of cheese and DukkahThe will take approximately 3 layers.
  2. In a pan, sauté garlic and spring onions and rest of Dukkah in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add wine and allow to reduce. Pour stock and cream, stirring while bringing to a bubbling boil.
  4. Pour this creamy mixture over potatoes and top with rest of the cheese.
  5. Place gratin in an oven for approximately 50 minutes at 180 C.
